U.S. Under Secretary of Education Martha Kanter will address the need for public universities to be more innovative in increasing access to higher education during remarks at the Future of State Universities: The Next Ten Years conference near Dallas, Texas, on Thursday, Oct. 6. Kanter will speak at noon at the Four Seasons Hotel.
The conference is hosted by Gov. Jeb Bush and Gov. Jim Hunt. The event will bring together national and world leaders to meet with the leadership of state universities from across America to discuss how to transform four-year state institutions and boost college access and completion through creative strategies.
