Education Secretary Arne Duncan Honors National Distinguished Principals for their Administrative Achievements

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will deliver the welcoming remarks at the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) National Distinguished Principals Program on Friday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m., ET. In his remarks, the Secretary will honor principals representing pre-kindergarten through 8th grade public and private schools from across the country as well as Department of Defense Education Activity schools and the Department of State Office of Overseas Schools.

The National Distinguished Principals Program recognizes elementary and middle school principals who set high standards for instruction, student achievement and character of the students, families, and staff in their learning communities.
