Education Department Senior Official to Discuss National Efforts to Boost College Completion

Rosemarie Nassif, special advisor to the assistant secretary for postsecondary education, will highlight the role of state regulators in helping to accomplish the Administration's goal of once again leading the world in college completion during the keynote address at a national conference on Monday, April 23. Nassif will deliver her presentation at 9:30 a.m. during the 2012 annual conference for the National Association of State Administrators and Supervisors of Private Schools.

The event will bring together leaders and regulators at private postsecondary institutions from across the country. The four-day is being held at the Sheraton Crystal City in Arlington, Va. NASASPS is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve and promote effective state regulation of private postsecondary education.
