Frank Chong, deputy assistant secretary for the U.S. Department of Education’s Office and Vocational and Adult Education, will give remarks and participate in a Town Hall meeting on helping students succeed in community college at the 2011 Community College Leadership Conference in Dallas on Thursday, Oct. 13.
The conference is hosted by the Association of Community College Trustees, a non-profit educational organization of governing boards, representing more than 6,500 elected and appointed trustees who govern more than 1,200 community, technical, and junior colleges. The Town Hall meeting is titled “Student Success: Generating A Policy Action Agenda.”
