Deputy Assistant Secretary for Rural Outreach John White will participate in the federal technical assistance workshop on Friday, October 14 at the Charleston Civic Center to support the Appalachian Regional Development Initiative. White will discuss career training and federal resources during the morning and afternoon sessions. The U.S. Department of Education, nine other federal agencies, and the Appalachian Regional Commission are part of this Obama Administration initiative to positively impact the economy in the 13-state region.
