Of the $100 billion in Recovery Act funding for Department of Education programs, over $17 billion has already been made available to State and Local Educational Associations and Institutions of Higher Learning. As more State Fiscal Stabilization Fund applications are approved, even larger amounts will be made available over the coming weeks. A report detailing how much money has been made obligated, or made available, in each state and how much money has been outlaid, or drawn down, is now available. See the spending report organized by state or by program. Updated state-by-state breakdowns for ARRA and projected budget levels are also available.
