Secretary Duncan speaks at the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Washington DC

Yesterday Secretary Arne Duncan spoke to more than 200 mayors who gathered in Washington, D.C., for the 78th winter meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.

In his remarks, Duncan discussed the important role of mayors in education. He also talked about the upcoming reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act.
