Glenn Cummings, Deputy Assistant Secretary in ED’s Office of Vocational and Adult Education, recently addressed a gathering of policymakers convened by the Association for Career and Technical Education.
The event was the National Leadership Forum: Skills for America — NOW. Cummings spoke about President Obama’s goal to make America first in the world in college graduations by 2020.
Here Cummings talks about the administration’s new initiatives to promote college and career readiness, expand college access, enhance career and technical education, and align adult education with workforce training. He also answers questions from the audience.
